Spin Training and Endorsment
Planning on becoming CFI? Our Instructors will train you in all the areas necessary to gain instructional proficiency in stall awareness, spin entry, spins, and spin recovery procedures in accordance with FAR 61.183(i)(1). This course consists of Ground Instruction and Teaching along with Flying in our Citabria Super Decathlon.

Ground Instruction

Spin training endorsements include ground instruction, which cover topics such as stall awareness, spin entry, and full developed spins.

Flight Instruction
Flight Instruction will consist of one flight block in the Citabria Super Decathlon
Block 1
(1.5 Hours)

Demonstrate & perform slipping and skidding turns and stalls.

Demonstrate & perform recovery from uncoordinated stall.

Demonstrate & perform Nose Low and Nose High Unusual Attitudes with Recovery.

Demonstrate & perform spin entry with immediate recovery.

Demonstrate & perform recovery from 1/2 and one turn spin and resultant dive.

Demonstrate & perform recovery from established spin and resultant dive.
